TrustAfrica has worked in partnership with the Thomson Reuters Foundation (TRF) as part of the Wealth of Nations initiative, to develop a robust, well trained media, capable of investigating and reporting on illicit financial flows from Africa. The initiative works with leading journalists and media organizations across the continent to build capacity to investigate IFFs and expose perpetrators of the illegal act. The initiative has contributed to a growing cross-border network of specialized reporters and “flagship” newsrooms covering illicit financial flows.
