KARPOORAVALLI RASAM🍵 is a super food for a cold, cough, fever & indigestion. Karpooravalli the Indian Borage is an excellent source of vitamins & minerals. This rasam/soup can be served with hot rice & as a drink any time of the year.
🧺INGREDIENTS🧺 (250ml cup)
Karpooravalli/Ajwain Leaves - 10
Tomato - 1 medium, chopped
Garlic - 3-4, chopped
Green chilli - 2 slit (adjust to tolerance)
Tamarind - a small gooseberry sized, soaked in water
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Cilantro - 1 tbsp, chopped
Warm Water - 2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida/Hing - 1/4 tsp
Rasam powder - 2 tsp (recipe link below)
Coconut oil - 2 tsp
Dry red chilli - 2
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
