Setting the timing using a 'buzz box' to determine when the points open. The 'buzz box' is just a cheap 3 volt buzzer from ebay, a couple of AA batteries and a coupe of wires with crocodile clips on their ends connected across the points. Alternative to a battery and bulb...saves having to look at a bulb and the timing marks at the same time.
