Wikiup shelters are a very old style of shelter used by native Americans ,they have timber frame work and were generally covered with animal hides . Bushcraft versions can be covered with anything from moss ,leaves,ferns,branches to my choice for ultimate weather proofing ,comfort and longevity tarpaulin !
