Across the globe, there is increasing acceptance of the critical role Nature plays in mitigating disaster risks. Kerala's Grama Panchayats have been implementing Nature-based Solutions for Disaster Risk Reduction or Ecosystem-based Disaster Risk Reduction for a while now and especially since the devastating floods of August 2018.
