Happy Flower Friday! 🌸 This is a Double Primrose (Primula vulgaris). The color is Pink Ice. It is native to Europe, NW Africa and SW Asia.

Bloom time is early to late spring (early summer) and provides an early source of nectar and pollen for pollinators. Primula is a perennial plant, which means they come back every year. This particular variety is hardy to zones 4-8 (down to -30 F). Primrose thrives in full sun to part shade. The crowns can be divided in summer through fall and grow well once established.
