"I'm quite torn when it comes to World of Guns: Gun Disassembly. On the one hand, I love the fundamental idea of this game: to present a multitude of firearm (dis)assembly manuals and documentary-level educational descriptions together in the guise of an interactive, time-trial based, memory puzzle game, which even non-firearms-enthusiasts could enjoy the basic mechanics of.
Unfortunately, on the other hand, the very things that give this game the sorts of qualities that merit the designation of a "game" are the very things that I find to be most wrong with it. From its transparently greedy, microtransaction-based boosts, to its horrifically anemic GUI design and grind-fest progression system, World of Guns could shine so much brighter were it polished and patched out of its current state and into a more user friendly one.
With a little love and guidance, this could become the premier source of firearms education as pertains to the inner workings, assembly, and disassembly of such tools. As it stands now, however, the price of entry into the game's more interesting stages of gameplay (that is to say, gaining access to more interesting and exotic weapon platforms) may well drive a number of potential fans away from its current, mediocre incarnation."

(I've included the descriptive text for our 1st 15 series below, since this video does follow that format to a degree.)
The 1st 15, our first impressions series, is quite simply the first fifteen minutes of my time with a game, for what that's worth; no more, no less. First impressions go a long way in setting the tone for how well a game is received by its audience, and even a good game can turn away potential fans if it can't hook them in its earliest moments. That said, this should not be treated as a comprehensive review; it represents my very first impressions of the game only; nothing more, nothing less.
