One little trick that you may not know, but is very, very important, is that in some jurisdictions, the Supreme Court form is not good enough and you may need to include additional information as to why this expungement is important to you. You won't see it in the statute books, you won't see it in a rule book, and you won't even see it in the form. But when you apply with the form and the State attorney gets it, some jurisdictions will automatically object to it. It's crazy, but there's something called case law that is decided by other judges over a period of time who have suggested that more information is required than was required by even the Supreme Court and the rules of civil procedure has asked for.
You need to put that information in there, because if you don't, the State will object and there is a very good chance you won't get that petition granted.
