In late January, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Egypt announced a new archaeological discovery in the coastal city of Alexandria on the Red Sea. The discovery included 16 burials in rock-cut tombs of the Lockley style (wall burial openings), which were commonly used in the Greek and Roman eras.
