The Michigan City Skatepark is a prefabricated Woodward Park just outside of the downtown area. It has a wide variety of obstacles and appeals primarily to BMX riders. Nevertheless it has a number of fun obstacles for skateboarding and is a great place to learn. It is also somewhat far away from other Northern Indiana and Chicago-area skatepark, making it the only option for many.
