Israeli forces stormed Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, forcibly removing patients, the injured, medical staff and journalists.
Wafa news agency reported on Friday that the hospital - the largest medical facility in Beit Lahia, serving over 400,000 residents - was set ablaze by Israeli forces.
The director of the Palestinian health ministry confirmed to Al Jazeera that over 300 people were forced out of the hospital.
The Israeli army has issued a statement confirming it launched a raid on the Kamal Adwan Hospital, claiming the medical facility “serves as a Hamas terrorist stronghold in northern Gaza”.
