Cassava cake is a traditional filipino dessert that's soft textured with a rich and creamy taste is perfect for coffee and tea. This special delicacy goes great at parties and can be made with my easy and simple recipe! Being one of the first things I learned how to bake, it's simplicity makes it achievable for anyone regardless of skill level!
Ingredients:
2 packs (908 g) frozen grated cassava (thawed)
1 pack ( 454 g) frozen shredded young coconut (thawed)
2 cans ( 800 ml) coconut milk
1 can (354 ml) condensed milk (add 3/4 can of milk on cassava & the remaining 1/4 for the toppings)
1 cup granulated white sugar
3 eggs
3 melted tbsp. butter
Directions:
In a large baking dish mix all
the ingredients well. Bake in a preheated oven at 375° F for 1 hour & 30 minutes, then remove in oven & add 1/4 of condensed milk for the
toppings. Bake again for another 15-20 minutes till it turns golden brown. Cool down for about 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
