In this Ink It Up! Tutorial, you will learn how to create cards featuring the Ice Cream Corner suite and several other coordinating Stampin' Up! products. I used the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch for the cones and the Double Oval Punch for the sentiments. The sentiments are stamped using the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set by Stampin' Up! In this LIVE demonstration, I shared how to decorate the ice cream cones using sponge brayers and blending brushes. In the first demonstration, I shared how to use the polka dot decorative mask to color dots on an ice cream cone. I used a sponge brayer and a blending brush for this demo. Use whichever kind of sponge you have. A sponge dauber that you put on your finger tip works great too. Next, I shared how to assemble a card using Ice Cream Corner designer series paper and punches. The next technique I demonstrated how to use embossing paste. I colored the Shimmery White Embossing Paste with a drop of Bermuda Bay ink. Then, I used it to decorate the ice cream scoops. While it is wet, you can stick the ice cream sprinkles onto it. One optional step is to use a heat tool to help dry and seal your embossing paste. It will air dry too. After sharing how to use embossing paste, I shared how to create a card with two ice cream cones on it. The last technique I demonstrated in this video was how to use the embossing paste with the decorative mask to create a card background.
