From Season 3 Episode 18 ‘Val's Boyfriend’. Over sushi, C.C. begs Fran to help reunite her with Mr. Sheffield. Fran does so by getting her old music teacher- who happens to look exactly like Marvin (and is played by him) - to pretend to be Hamlisch and to convince Maxwell to take C.C. back.

From Season 2 Episode 23, 'A Kiss Is Just A Kiss'. Fran and Maggie enter a kissing contest where the winner appears on the cover of a Billy Ray Cyrus album. Maxwell insists that Fran can't be that good of a kisser, Fran challenges this!

From Season 6 Episode 4, 'Sara's Parent's'. Max is worried Sara's parents won't approve of Fran. He reveals that he never told them about their marriage. Fran tries to win them over but keeps doing the wrong thing.

From Season 6 Episode 7, 'Mom's The Word'. Fran gets upset and storms off after breaking the news to Maxwell that she's pregnant. She goes to the park and while there she doubles up in pain and is rushed to the hospital. Maxwell rushes to her side.

From Season 1 Episode 14, 'The Family Plumbing'. When a plumber brings his granddaughter along to fix the Sheffield's broken shower, Brighton gets his first kiss.

From Season 3 Episode 9 'The Two Mrs.Sheffields'. Maxwell's Mom comes to stay with Maxwell, and she meets Fran, who she does not approve of. Maxwell asks Fran to marry him, just to annoy his mother.

From Season 6 Episode 6, 'I'm Pregnant'. Fran, Sylvia, and Yetta walk in on Maggie and Michael in bed together. Maxwell also walks in and he orders Michael to leave. Maggie tells Fran that she thinks she's pregnant! Fran goes to great lengths to hide this from Maxwell.

From Season 6 Episode 19, 'Maggie's Wedding'. Michael proposes to Maggie. Fran learns that Michael's cousin is James Brolin and that Barbra Streisand is coming to Maggie and Michael's wedding. Fran is so excited that she goes into premature labor causing her to miss Barbra!

From Season 6 Episode 5, ‘Maggie’s Boyfriend’. Maggie introduces her new boyfriend Michael to her father and Fran, she is nervous about her father’s reaction and of Brighton embarrassing her. Fran is impressed by Michael but Maxwell isn’t, and he doesn’t react well when Maggie announces she is planning on moving in with Michael.

From Season 3 Episode 23 'That's Midlife'. After losing to Fran in tennis, Maxwell spirals into a midlife crisis which included dressing younger and buying a flashy sports car. Fran finally makes him realize his life is great, and the two of them go for a final spin in the sports car!

From Season 6 Episode 16, 'The Finale: Part 2'. Whilst Fran is giving birth to twins, C.C. and Niles get married and learn that they are also expecting a baby. After the twins are born, Maggie and Brighton head to Europe whilst Yetta and Sylvia head to California to start a new life.

From Season 5 Episode 6, 'A Decent Proposal'. Maxwell is jealous of Chevy Chase's attention to Fran, but he finds that she brings him luck for his poker game. From Season 3 Episode 20, 'Where's The Pearls?' Elizabeth Taylor asks Fran to look after her special black pearls. Unfortunately, Fran has an accident and loses her memory and can't remember where she put the pearls! In her confused state, Fran believes that she is Elizabeth Taylor and is married to Maxwell!
