Today in our 2016 Toyota-Highlander, we're going to be test fitting the Kuat Trio rooftop bike rack, part number, Tr02. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now first and foremost, there's going to be no frame contact with this bike rack at all. Instead, it uses a skewer system up at the front to grip your bike by the forks and it also has this wheel strap here in the back. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. To do that, you just push up on this tab on the wheel strap.

Now loosen it up. We come up to the front while holding on to the bike, we'll loosen up that front skewer like so and lift the bike up and off. Now with the rear wheel strap, this is adjustable to the length of the bike rack to accommodate different sized bikes. The skewer is also adjustable to grip different sized forks and how this fits on to your roof rack, it clamps on with these U-bolts up at the front and this plate at the back. It can fit a wide variety of configurations from arrow, square, round, elliptical and even some factory crossbars. There you have it for the Kuat Trio rooftop bike rack, part number, Tr02 on our 2016 Toyota-Highlander.

Here it is on our test course. We'll start by going through the inaudible 00:01:35. This is going to show us the side to side action, which simulates training corners or evasive maneuvers. Next, we're at at the alternating speed bumps, which will see the twisting action. This will simulate hitting a curb or pothole or driving over uneven pavement. Finally, we have the full speed bumps where we'll see the up and down action, which is just like driving out of a parking lot garage or driveway..
