STARTS@TLU Residencies (2019–2021): Bridging Art and Science
The STARTS@TLU residencies, held at Tallinn University from 2019 to 2021, aimed to foster collaboration between artists and scientists within a shared creative process. The goal was to create an incubative environment where knowledge exchange between disciplines could thrive.
The project was initiated by Aleksander Väljamäe and the School of Digital Technologies at Tallinn University. It was curated by Hanna-Liisa Pender and Taavet Jansen and organized in collaboration with the Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) and the elektron.art platform.
In this video, the first residents, Dila Demir, and Mihkel Kohava, introduce their project. Additionally, there is a conversation with the next group of residents, offering insights into their creative journey.
