The Cross-Island Line (CRL) Environmental Impact Study (EIA) report for Soil Investigation has been announced in the press and the documents are available for public perusal and feedback. The Nature Society along with other green groups and knowledgeable individuals were engaged with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in a process of consultation that oversaw the development of this EIA. Mr Tony O’Dempsey will discuss the engagement process as well as critical issues of impact relating to the proposed CRL and in particular the anticipated soil survey.
