Santa's engine puffs around merrily with Father Christmas and the kids watching. Then as it backs on to the coaches someone says, "Slowly, slowly", just before it hits the back of the stationary coaches. Santa examines the coaches with his magic lamp before declaring the steam sleigh "ready to proceed".

Please note that on this design of sleigh, Santa does not come down the chimney. Notice the new radio antennae issued to FGW platform staff for these events.
