The Socio-Economic Rights Institute of South Africa has lambasted the National Prosecuting Authority for delaying prosecution of the gruesome killings of the 34 mineworkers on the 16th of August 2012 in Marikana.
The institution, which represents widows and families of the mine workers says the NPA does not take the plight of the families seriously.
Meanwhile, 90% of the civil lawsuit filed by the wounded and unlawfully arrested mine workers has been settled.
