Meet Jamaica’s Rabbi, Director of Chabad Jamaica, Rabbi Yaakov Raskin!

Light Jamaica is a project of Chabad of Jamaica, an organization that has been serving the island for over a decade, providing spiritual and essential support to visitors and locals of all backgrounds. Founded with a mission to inspire and uplift, Chabad Jamaica offers community services, educational programs, and vital resources to those in need. Through this initiative they bring people together, spread joy, and provide meaningful assistance to those facing hardship.

This year’s festival supports essential projects, with proceeds going directly toward funding water tanks and access to running water for Jamaican communities who need it most.

Each guest receives an ARK Box (Act of Routine Kindness) -aka little yellow ARK, inspiring them to fill it with coins and pass it forward, encouraging continuous acts of giving and compassion.
