The 7th asana in the Light of Yoga is Virabhadrasana 1 or the Warrior 1 pose. One of the most energising and engaging poses, Warrior 1 develops concentration, balance and groundedness.

Effects
This pose relieves stiffness in the shoulders and back, tones up the ankles and knees and also reduces fat around the hips
Contraindications
This is a strenuous pose and should not be practised by people suffering from heart issues.
