This system features a FANUC M1iA Delta robot. Cutting beads for wire chain saws used in stone quarries are robotically handled. Beads are fed & orientated to the robotic automation from a bowl feeder and palletized to preformed plastic trays at a rate of 60ppm. Trays are held by vacuum nests at two locations on two slide drawers. Once a slide drawer is complete the drawer is pulled out manually and reloaded with empty plastic trays. Machine interface is done through the pendant panel wizard creating a pseudo HMI that is strictly robot controlled.
