Just built this keyboard using stock NK Silk Black switches. These are gen 2 with improved lube application from the factory. Using the stock clip-in Cherry stabilizers. Will probably go back and add a bit more lube to the backspace housing to get rid of a little of the remaining scratch. Also used the PE foam and tape mods here.
I really like how it sounds like this. It would definitely be worth getting some screw-in stabs and hand-lubing the switches, but this is a great beginning point for this keyboard. The only thing I don't like is that the gasket mount is much more about isolation than flex. It's a pretty stiff typing experience overall, but that's kind of to be expected with the brass plate. You also can't add any additional case foam (there is only plate foam included with the kit) without completely eliminating flex.
Overall, I'm pretty happy for $269!
