This is footage from when I visited the Great Central Railway on 31/08/2022.
The day was pretty uneventful and we only had the 9F and a Diesel railcar running.

This was my first time visiting and I'm surprised that the line is only double-tracked until the stretch to Leicester north because in theory you can make it double-tracked but it's weird. nonetheless.

I enjoyed my day and will be returning for the autumn gala so expect a video for then.
