The first model that we are looking at is our Matrix Elete Quad Machine. This machine will produce a quad seal style bag either center or corner seal as well as standard flat bottom bags and regular pillow bags, all on the same format. It is a relatively tall machine, 96 inches, perfect for the coffee industry and/or snacks.
We've made a couple improvements to this machine, especially in the quad seal area where we have micro-adjustment both on the quads seal contact with the forming tube and the actual quad seal width, which can be adjusted on the fly with a screw assembly. That's nice for dialing in the actual quad seal width when you are running.
A 10 1/2-inch color touchscreen for all the functions of the machine on an adjustable loop. Here is the micro-adjustment on the in-and-out as far as contact with the forming tube to make sure you get good seals. The screw assembly to adjust quad seal width is located in this assembly right here--loosen the two nuts and then you can move this in and out with a screw to dial in your quad seal width.
This particular setup we are running a corner back seal, or a corner seal. We can add a center back seal bar to run thin or lap seal all on the same machine.
Stainless steel frame, hard coat aluminum back stand is available with all of the options, NI Flush, we can put a button valve applicator on it, label applicator, any number of other options, printers, and so forth.
Depending on the film, the seal characteristics of the film, and whether you're running a corner back seal or a center back seal, you can run speeds anywhere from 25 up to 50 bags per minute.
