After a few previous failed attempts, I booked a crappy motel late one night with the intention of fishing this impressive river early the next day. With warmer than average October temperatures, I fished the Whitewater Rafting section of the Youghiogheny River near Ohiopyle in Ohiopyle State Park. Although I didn't catch any of the monsters, I did manage a Brownie, Rainbow, and 3 bass over the course of about 2.5 hours. Although I'm not the biggest fan of stocked/holdover trout (preferring their Wild/Native cousins), this is a beautiful river with amazing holding water (riffles, pools, oxygenation, ect). Not a bad little morning, but wish I had more time to explore.
