In this video, Will Taylor from Compassa demonstrates the concept of thermal comfort. Recently, in the 2022 heat wave, there have been calls from unions and politicians to introduce a maximum legal workplace temperature. This is too simplistic, as it is thermal comfort which increases or decreases the health and safety risk from extremes of temperatures. This is studied as a matter of course on our NEBOSH National General Certificate (NGC).
