Every eight days, a Briton travels abroad to end their life. 65-year-old Alex Pandolfo is one of the many who are planning to seek help to die, after being diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease 5 years ago. Refusing to succumb to the terminal illness, Alex has made the decision to travel to Switzerland, and end his life when he feels the time is right. But should he have to venture abroad to carry out his wish? Nick Ferrari thinks the time has come for change, and after following Alex’s journey in his new web series, joins us with Alex on the sofa today to share their story and discuss their campaign for changing the law in the UK.
