In 2002, Yeovil Town reached their first ever FA Trophy Final under new manager Gary Johnson, against Conference rivals Stevenage Borough. Inside the first minute, young goalkeeper Chris Weale was called upon to make a superb save at full stretch to keep the scores level. The header he saved came from future Yeovil striker Kirk Jackson, who would join the club just a few months later and be promoted with them as Champions in 2003.
