This is a first impressions video of the Opus 88 Omar (Yellow) with Broad nib and Colorverse Supernatural ink. I purchased the pen from Vanness Pen Shop and the ink from Truphae with my own money. The original sample of the ink was a gift from pen friend B.H. I have reviewed the ink 2 years ago ... I like it even more now than I did then!
This pen purchase was inspired because of how much I love the Opus 88 Koloro Red (M) which was a gift from pen friend M.B. Both the Koloro and the Omar are eyedropper pen. The Koloro has a #5 (smaller) nib unit and the Omar has a #6 nib. They share the same style eyedropper system which has a shut off valve to cut off ink flow when not in use and help prevent leaking.
I find the Opus 88 Omar to be a super nice writing experience -- I like the grip, the large 3.5 ml ink capacity, the smooth nib, the ink flow, the looks of the pen and comfort for writing as long as I want to write!!!! It fit in one of my Rickshaw long sleeves but not the other one - it does have a wide diameter capped.
Here are some approximate measurements:
Grip Diameter: 11 mm
Weight of pen total inked: 36.5 grams
Length capped: 5 and 6/8", 149 mm
Length uncapped: 5 and 3/8", 139 mm
Can post but I do not!
One of the best features in my opinion is that you can get nib units for this for about $20 so if you decide you want another nib size it's very easy to change them. Or if you have more than one in different nib sizes you can vary the experience by swapping the nibs. I often do this with my TWSBI Diamond 580s between Broad and Stub nibs.
Eventually, after writing with this longer (I've had it a couple of weeks now) I'll do a full review with all of the review elements - I'd also like to try a few more inks in this one like I did with the Opus 88 Koloro.
Here is the video I really recommend if you're looking for a review of this pen model:

Special Note: This pen fit into my Nock Sinclair with no issues. It also fit fine into a Rickshaw hand roll. It needs a LONG and most likely "Fat" size sleeve although it did fit in one regular Long Rickshaw sleeve. If you take off the clip it fits easier in a regular long.
