Tilapia Grilled Fish Recipe | Spicy Kanthari Fish Recipe | Grilled Fish Recipes
In today's video, we will see the recipe of spicy tilapia grilled fish recipe. The main ingredient in this recipe is the kanthari chilli or birds eye chilli. This kanthari grilled fish recipe is very easy and is an excellent grilled fish recipe.
Ingredients
Tilapia Fish Fillet - 3
Oil - 2 tsp + 2 tsp
Garlic Cloves - 15
Kanthari Chillies - 20 to 25
Fresh Curry Leaves - a handful
Ground Black Pepper - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Preparation
To prepare the marinade, heat oil in a pan. Saute Garlic, Kanthari Chillies and Curry Leaves for a minute.
Grind this to a coarse paste. To this, add crushed black pepper, salt, lemon juice and mix well.
Make long slits into the fish fillets and marinate it with the prepared paste.
Set aside for 15 minutes.
Heat a grill pan, add oil and place the marinated fish fillets.
Set the flame on medium and cook for 2 minutes on each sides.
You can place a banana leaf on top of the fish to get that extra flavour and cover with a lid.
Once done, remove from the grill pan and serve along with some sliced onions and lemon wedges.
Smear some black pepper on top and squeeze the lemon before serving.
