ingredients
for chicken marinade
1) boneless chicken 300 gms
2) ginger garlic paste - 1.3 tea spoon
3) black pepper - 1/2 tea spoon
4) cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon
5) garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon
6) kashmiri red chili powder - 1 tea spoon
7) red chili flakes - 1/2 tea spoon
8) soya sauce - 2 tea spoon
9) vinegar - 1table spoon
10) green chili sauce - 1 tea spoon
11) turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon
13) salt - as required
14) corn flour - 1/2 tea spoon
water soaked skewers some
for tomato ketchup paste
1) brown sugar - 1/2 tea spoon
2) tomato ketchup - 2 tea spoon
3) water
for shashlik sticks cooking
1) diced yellow bellpepper
2) diced green bellpepper
3) onion
4) tomato
cooking process.
- take boneless chicken pieces in a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, kashmiri red chili powder, red chili flakes, soya sauce, vinegar, green chili sauce, turmeric powder, salt, cornflour and mix all together well, and marinade atlist for 1 hour.
- soak skewers in water
- in bowl take brown sugar and add tomato ketchup and water and make a paste of it.
- after one hour arrange chicken pieces and other veggies on skewers.
- in pan add oil and put all skewers in it, fry shashlik sticks on medium to high heat both the sides of chicken for 2 minutes
- now turn shashlik sticks and apply oil from pan on it. also apply brown sugar and tomato ketchup paste on it.
- now fry chicken from both sides till in nicely cooked from inside. keep brushing with pan oil and ketchup paste in between.
serve hot.
