THE COMPANY: PEAK Scientific Instruments, a fast–growing company specialising in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market are seeking to hire two Technical Operators to join our growing production team here at PEAK HQ, in Inchinnan.
Job: Technical Operator
Location: Inchinnan
Job type: Full-time, permanent
THE ROLE: Reporting to the Production Team Leader, the key tasks will be to manufacture electrical and/or mechanical sub-assemblies and complete units to approved quality standards in set times as well as processing the units through approved test procedures to comply with specifications.
THE CANDIDATE: You will be a self-starter, who is comfortable working to targets and will have a strong detail focus. You will also possess:
• Experience from a similar manufacturing background
• Experience of working in a mechanical assembly environment
• Basic electrical knowledge – preparation of basic harness assembly incl. soldering and crimping techniques
• Awareness of CSA, PED, and ISO9001 accreditation standards would be a benefit
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong team focus
• Continual improvement focus.
