Angel Blue is a Grammy award winning international opera singer and presenter/host. She opened the Metropolitan Opera's 2019-2020 season as Bess in Porgy and Bess and was the first African-American woman to sing the role of Violetta in La Traviata at the iconic Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy in 2019. Ms. Blue is a former BBC presenter where she co-hosted shows such as the BBC Proms and the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition. She is the co-founder of the non-profit organization Sylvia's Kids and is the host of "Faithful Friday" a web series talk show that is meant to encourage and uplift people's spirits during the covid-19 crisis. Ms. Blue can also be seen in the viral video "HiHo Kids Meet an Opera Singer"
