Video taken during a hike at Happy Valley Forest on June 26, 2011, of a juvenile Eastern Newt, which is called a "red eft".
When I lift the camera part way through the video, it was to make sure I didn't step on any of the little guys while I followed this one. They were everywhere in this patch of underbrush that day! I went back a week later and they were nowhere to be found.
