Elder Joseph of Vatopedi was a spiritual child of Saint Joseph the Hesychast, who was recently canonized by the Orthodox Church. Elder Joseph spent 63 years on Mount Athos as a monk, a part of which he served as abbot at the Monastery of Vatopedi. His wisdom and spiritual experience helped thousands of people, both monks and pilgrims, throughout the years, and his words continue to inspire many even to this day. Elder Joseph pray for us!
