In 1950 the unfancied Skoda Sport looked set for an upset in the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans.
The huge underdog had already made headlines by qualifying for Le Mans. And the Czechoslovakian team stunned the motorsport world by holding on to second place - before an engine failure cut short their dreams. Škoda Auto's 1101/1102, better known as the “Tudor”, was launched in 1949. The long-lost oldtimer was found decades later and restored. Here you can see it put through its paces by two-time Le Mans champ Hans Joachim Stuck.
