A rumor has been spread that these railway coaches are defective and new ones could run on a Pakistani train. Rumormongers have spread rumors that 46 railway coaches imported by Pakistan at a cost of $149 million from China are faulty. A Twitter user wrote in his tweet that "88 Pakistani officers inspected/approved these bogies in China, they should be sacked after such a huge loss, but the claim is completely false, even the CEO of Pakistan Railways confirmed it." The new coaches brought from China are fully fit and ready to run on the track. According to the details, Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Railways Salman Sadiq Shaikh has strongly denied the news published in an English daily that the imported from China.
