There’s a wide range of products you could be looking for when searching for an industrial or commercial intercom. Their applications are extremely varied, so I’ll try to cover a variety of solutions to give you some ideas.
You may just need two-way communication between two points. If you need it to be wireless and indoors, our Commercial Base Stations will do the trick. You can even use handheld 2-way radios with these. They may work with radios you already have as well.
If one point needs to be outside at a loading dock or security door or gate, our weather-proof wireless callboxes can communicate with the handheld radios or base stations. You can even activate a door or gate opener remotely.
If you can run wires then we have a high-definition CAT-5 wiring system that has noise cancellation and ample volume. This system works great in noisy environments and it offers hands-free operation, so if you have a noisy area where you need reliable two-way communication, this one works very well.
Maybe all you need is to broadcast a message one way. That’s where our wireless PA system fits the bill. It works with the same handheld radios and base station intercoms previously mentioned. If you have an existing wired PA system we can integrate with that too.
If your search was for a durable gate intercom system then the previous options given will work, but we also have others. If you need something wireless that has full-duplex communication, then this digital system works well. We even have a version of this one that we use for noisy truck scales.
For gate applications where you want to have the gate call a phone or an app on your phone, there are cell phone or Wi-Fi gate intercoms. The cell phone version requires a mobile service plan and it will call any telephone number you have programmed into it. It works like any cell phone.
Another option is our Wi-Fi gate intercom. If you have, or can get, a Wi-Fi signal at your gate then this intercom gives you audio and video capability on your smartphone or tablet PC. There is no monthly fee for this unit.
