Correctional services in Limpopo have started the process of transferring prisoners back to the Kutama-Sinthumule facility after they were evacuated due to a fire in August 2023.
Limpopo Police Commissioner Makgothi Thobakgale will do quality checks on the repairs to the facility.
One inmate died on the scene and two others succumbed to their wounds while being treated in hospital.
