VINICUNCA RAINBOW MOUNTAIN PERU TREK

The route to go to the rainbow mountain is now by two different places that reach the top of the mountain of 7 colors. Route one is the one that started 3 years ago from Pitumarca, Llamachimpana and we used to leave Cusco at 4 in the morning. Now the second option is to leave Cusco at 5 in the morning to the south until you reach the city of Cusipata.

From Cusipata we go to the end of the dirt road called Llactoc, from Llactoc we walk or ride on horseback to save energy and enjoy the panoramic views of the beautiful mountain painted in 7 colors. The walking time is only 1 hour and 30 minutes.
