🫁 STATUS ASTHMATICUS 🫁 Most people know we are going to give Magnesium super fast to help relax those airways. Often times, people think they can give Mag fast for magnesium replacement. This is not the same!! When you have a patient with low Mag, the LONGER you run the Mag on the pump the more uptake the kidneys take in. So running Mag over 15 mintues in Status Asthmasticus versus a mag replacement are two different worlds! 💊
