Andhra Pradesh Cm Ys Jagan Launches Ap Seva Portal | Citizen Services Portal | Grama Swarajyam
Jagan Govt said sweet words to the people of AP. Made another facility available in connection with the secretariats. The secretariats will be informed from time to time of the details of when an application is made for resolution of a petition and at what stage at any officer. Bringing the process of informing the applicant from time to time in the form of Essemmes. Chief Minister YS Jagan formally launched the 'AP Service Portal'.
Chief Minister YS Jagan said he was happy to launch the Citizen Services portal. We are giving the name of AP service to this portal. We are launching 2.0 to further improve the services provided in the secretariats.
All kinds of government services are available in the secretariats of cities, towns and villages across the state. A total of 545 types of government services are provided by the government through the secretariats. There are more than 220 new services in the secretariats that are not even available at your service centers. From January 26, 2020 till date, 3.47 crore government services have been received by the people through the secretariats.
The petitions in the secretariats are linked to the portals of various government departments. The secretariat staff will not know the information till the application is fully resolved. The details will be within the purview of the concerned department only. Moreover, the staff of the Secretariat could not tell the details of the application to the petitioner. To overcome all these difficulties, all the services provided online are being brought under one portal. By doing so the staff of the Secretariat will know the details of the progress of the petitions.
According to the new software portal being introduced by the government, the secretariat will be able to know the details of how long an application has been pending with an official. The details of the officer who has kept the application pending for a longer period beyond the specified time limit will appear from time to time on the portal dashboard. Officials say this will help in resolving the petitions expeditiously.
About 90 per cent of the services received through the secretariats have completed the process of linking to the new software portal. 135 services have been connected to the new portal and a trial run has been conducted for the last 20 days. Problems are being solved and made fully available. The process of linking the remaining services branch-wise to the new portal will also continue. Updates on applications will no longer go to the applicant in the form of a message.
