A quick slideshow of some of the highlights of the week! We were not allowed to have phones at camp, so some of the best memories had to be left out of this video, but they'll never be forgotten!

AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE ASSIGNMENT:
I was blessed with the opportunity to attend Sierra Bible Camp on July 9-16, 2016 for the fourth year in a row, where we spend a whole week with no technology and submerge ourself into the beautiful forests around Lake Almanor.
This experience was enhanced socially by the amazing friends and family that help to keep the camp running and organize hikes and nature walks for the campers. Politically this experience was enhanced because of our freedom of religion. Being Christian based, this camp would not exist if it weren't for people coming together to worship as one family.
Each camper pays a fee to help keep SBC running and to help pay for maintenance as well as fresh running water from local springs.

This experience could have been diminished socially if campers were disrespectful and did not care to preserve the nature. Politically, if we did not have the freedoms that we do, this camp would not be able to thrive.
If there were no fees paid by campers and no funding going towards the groundskeeper, the area would likely become polluted and worn down by frequent users.

My week spent at SBC in 2016 was one of the best weeks of my life. I feel so blessed to have been able to spend a week with close friends and family in the stunningly gorgeous nature surrounding us.
