Since government amended the constitution in December to lift the presidential age cap, the choir of opposing voices has grown louder with some considering going to court.
Opposition politicians led by former FDC president Dr Kizza Besigye came together to launch a campaign called Tubalemese, intended to reject the amendment.
Under the campaign, the politicians plan to reject members of parliament who voted for the amendment of the constitution. However, government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo says this is for the cameras.
