Work will continue on the controversial Wenlin Yuan urban renewal project. The Taipei government gave the go-ahead to builders on Tuesday, a day after the Supreme Administrative Court rejected an appeal by a family that lived within the project area. The Wang family became the focal point of the case when it protested against the project, which already led to the demolishment of its home. But Taipei Deputy Mayor Chang Chin-oh says the administrative court's ruling shows that the city was acting within its legal authority. Despite this latest setback, the Wang family vowed to continue its fight.
