Here's how to easily deflate your inflatable paddle board and roll it up so that it fits correctly in your board bag, and without damaging it.
Start by locating the valve where you inflated it.
Release the valve cap by rotating it counter-clockwise.
Press the pin down to lock it in the DOWN position to deflate.
Air will immediately start exiting the board.
It might be a little loud in the beginning.
If you have the double chamber board,
follow the same steps for the inner chamber.
To deflate it faster, you can use the Tiki pump
connect the hose to the DEF Mode, located on the handle of the pump.
Make sure the pin is in down position,
so you can start pumping to deflate.
Once all the air is out of the board,
fold your board from the nose to the tail.
This will help to release the rest of the air out.
Make sure that you press on each fold.
So it will help to fold the board nice and tight.
When you find the valve point,
don't forget to return the valve cover
and make sure the pin is in UP position
so we don't allow any dust to get in the board.
Continue folding to the tail of the board.
Now you are ready to pack the board into the board bag.
We need to make sure that the final fold
should have the fin box on top of the other folds.
Place the board in the bag with the fin looking up.
Secure the board with the compression belt.
Now you can pack the equipment
and the first step is to disassemble the pump.
Remove the hose and
remove the base from the Tiki Pump.
Place the pump in the inner pocket.
Secure it with the belt.
Keep small equipment in the other pocket and
lock them in place with the belt.
Close the bag using the zippers.
Connect the compression belt to reduce the pressure to the zipper.
