Prof. Michał Heller skupia się w nim na zagadnieniu relacji między teologią naturalną (a więc dyscypliną filozoficzną) a współczesną kosmologią. Będziemy mieli okazję posłuchać o początkach kosmologii – statycznym modelu kosmologicznym Alberta Einsteina i tym, jak go odrzucono na rzecz modelów ekspandujących. Dowiemy się także, czy matematyczne i fizyczne pojęcie osobliwości można utożsamić ze stworzeniem świata; jaka była geneza idei tzw. wieloświata (multiverse) i jakie są jej filozoficzne implikacje; oraz czy przypadek w historii Wszechświata wyklucza jego racjonalny charakter. Ostatni wykład kursu poświęcony został życiu i dziełu wybitnego kosmologa i jednocześnie katolickiego księdza – Georgesa Lemaître’a.
