Lots of speculation out there on whether a Day of The Dead costumes/outfits are cultural appropriation.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
Here's my experience of a Spanish (in Spain) celebration of All Saints Day in the evening at a cemetery, which may have been the original Catholic tradition before it became Day Of The Dead/Dia De Los Muertos in Mexico and Latin America, both which celebrate the deceased/ancestors. In Catholicism, All Saints Day is November 1 and All Souls Day is November 2. It is eerily similar in custom to Day of the Dead.
