I've been using this keyboard for over a month now - and while overall the keyboard is great - there are two items I'd like to bring to the attention of prospective buyers, the first is minor but worthy of mention, and the second is a bigger "issue" but can be easily remedied.
1) if you are buying this keyboard, keep in mind that It may take you some time to get used to the rounded keys. I consider myself computer literate, but I did have a few moments early on where I wondered if going with rounded keys was a mistake for my work keyboard. Fast forward a month and I no longer have those same concerns.
2) I deducted 1 star for this - BE CAREFUL sliding this keyboard around on your desk with the wrist pad extended as the hinges on the back of the keyboard WILL SCRATCH your desk if you are not careful (while I learned this the hard way, lucky for me I am on a temporary desk where the scratches won't cause me to lose any sleep). To remedy this you can do any of the following:
- Do not slide the keyboard around your desk (Duh)
- Leave the wrist pad folded (this is currently what I am doing)
- Tape a small piece of felt over the hinges
- Remove the wrist pad entirely (there are four small philips-head screws holding the wrist pad to the keyboard which can be easily removed).
Despite the above I would still recommend this keyboard to others and would consider buying it again.
The overall construction of the keyboard is solid and the various light modes are a blast to play with.
